The official text of the Prohibited Substances and Methods List shall be maintained by WADA in English, French and Spanish. In the event of any conflict between the English and other language versions, the English version shall prevail.

- WADA officially maintains the List in English, French and Spanish and bears full responsibility for the accuracy of the English version appearing on the List at any time.
- For languages other than English, French and Spanish WADA shall have no liability for any incorrect or inaccurate translation appearing in the List, nor for any damage incurred by users as a result of the mistranslation.

M1. Manipulation of Blood and Blood Components

If a Substance or Method is not defined in this list, please verify with your Anti-Doping Organization.

The following are prohibited:

The administration or reintroduction of any quantity of autologous, homologous or heterologous blood or red blood cell products of any origin into the circulatory system.
Artificially enhancing the uptake, transport or delivery of oxygen, including, but not limited to, perfluorochemicals, efaproxiral (RSR13) and modified haemoglobin products (e.g. haemoglobin-based blood substitutes, microencapsulated haemoglobin products), excluding supplemental oxygen.
Any form of intravascular manipulation of the blood or blood components by physical or chemical means.

If a Substance or Method is not found, please verify with your Anti-Doping Organization to ensure that this Substance or Method is not prohibited as a related Substance or Method that falls under an existing category.
